NTB Governor Lalu Muhamad Iqbal stated during a coordination meeting in Mataram on Monday, September 14, 2026, that evaluations from previous racing seasons serve as the operational blueprint to ensure a more structured event that delivers direct economic benefits to local communities.
Technical and infrastructure preparations for the international event have entered their final phase. The Chairman of the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia reported that readiness across circuit facilities, power infrastructure, transport logistics, and integrated security systems has reached 80 percent.
