LOMBOK, Indonesia — Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden arrived in Lombok on Saturday, September 5, 2026, launching an official working visit focused on sustainable development initiatives across West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) province.

​The heir apparent to the Swedish throne was received at the VIP terminal of Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport by NTB Governor Dr. H. Lalu Muhamad Iqbal. Demonstrating regional cultural heritage, Governor Iqbal presented the Crown Princess with a traditional handwoven Sasak textile (Tenun Sasak) scarf alongside a welcome beverage crafted from eleven native spices.

Crown Princess Victoria is visiting the region in her capacity as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

​During her itinerary in Lombok, the Crown Princess is scheduled to assess community-based sustainability projects, review regional climate resilience frameworks, and hold direct engagements with local stakeholders and grass-roots conservation groups across the island.
